Foundations of Movement
A five-session course exploring the foundational principles of contemporary mat Pilates. We’ll experiment with different breathing techniques, investigate how the axial skeleton responds to movement, explore progressive overload using time under tension and load transfer, deepen our understanding of flexibility versus mobility, and learn to identify the different planes of movement.
