001: Breath
In this first class of Foundations of Movement, we explore breath not as a technique to master, but as a system that supports movement. Rather than prescribing a single “correct” way to breathe, we’ll experiment with several breathing strategies and notice how each one changes sensation, stability, and effort.
This class invites you to let go of controlling the breath and instead observe how breath and movement influence one another. You’ll begin building awareness of pressure, expansion, and containment—skills that will support every class that follows.
